Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Forehead Frenzy (“the App”), published by Benjamin Locher (“we,” “us”), handles information when you use the app.

Summary

Forehead Frenzy is a local party game. You do not need an account. Core gameplay, bundled decks, scores, and settings stay on your device. Optional AI features may send prompts to a third-party AI provider only if you choose to enable cloud AI and provide your own API key.

Information stored on your device

The App may store locally:

This information is not uploaded to our servers. We do not operate a Forehead Frenzy account backend for this App.

Motion data

If you allow Motion & Fitness access, the App uses device motion on-device to detect tilts that mark correct answers or passes during a round. Motion data is not transmitted to us or to third parties.

Optional cloud AI

If you add a Gemini or OpenAI API key in Settings:

You can remove a saved key at any time in Settings. You can also use on-device AI when your device supports it, which keeps generation on the phone.

Optional sharing

If you export or share a deck package, the share uses the system share sheet. Recipients receive the deck file you chose to share. We do not intermediate that transfer.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The App does not include third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking for advertising purposes.

Children’s privacy

The App is designed as a family-friendly party game and is not directed solely at children under 13 as a Kids Category product. Parents or guardians should supervise AI deck creation topics. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention and deletion

Because gameplay data lives on your device, you can remove it by deleting decks in the App, resetting freshness/data options where provided, clearing app data, or uninstalling the App.

Third-party services

If you enable cloud AI, the relevant provider’s privacy policy also applies to data you send them (for example Google Gemini or OpenAI). Review those policies before adding a key.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
